On the advice of an “energy medicine physician” Chris Cuomo has been spending 30 minutes a day in his sauna along with a healthy diet, 45 pills, and CBD.
Cuomo’s wife has been updating the public on Chris’ recovery. “Since this particular virus has no proven remedy, the plan we set in place was to use oxygenated herbs to get ahead of the curve and boost Chris’ immune system for the battle ahead,” she wrote on The Purist. “He has also been sitting in the Sunlighten sauna every day, which seems to make him feel better and has helped with his fever.”
While this doctor and the President of Belarus recommend sauna in battling the coronavirus it must be stressed that sauna is not a “cure” for COVID-19. As discussed elsewhere on this site, sauna can not raise your body temperature high enough to kill the virus without killing yourself in the process.
Interestingly Chris Cuomo is taking CBD which has a possible strong synergistic effect in combination with sauna use.
However we are not doctors or scientists here at Best in Sauna but we do our best to use what experts report on the benefits of sauna use which can be used as another tool in your body’s health plan.
- Sauna reduces congestion and other cold and flu symptoms
- Sauna increases white blood cells
- Large studies show regular sauna use is associated with a 40% decreases all-cause mortality
- During this time of anxiety it is worth noting the proven effects sauna has in increasing our mental well being.
